The Kettler Company manufactures leisure gear, fitness training equipment, and furniture among other items. Kettler developed a proprietary braking system used in this model, which allows for an adaptable, manual, or programmable 25 – 400 watt electro magnetic resistance. The Kettler Kadett has a non-contemporary design with the rowing arms manufactured for a circular movement with an aim at simulating rowing in water more accurately. For resistance this model uses hydraulic cylinders which can be adjusted to suite your level of endurance; the Kadett supports 12 resistance levels. The display panel will show you your speed, distance rowed, time elapsed, strokes, calories spent and heart rate. The kettler measures 67 x 18 x 59 inches and weighs 275 pounds. The frame of the machine is not designed to fold but the handle arms can fold flat inwards. The foot plates on the Kadett are adjustable to suit users of varying heights; the plates come with grips and adjustable straps to secure the users feet.
